We ensure that each child’s individual learning needs are carefully planned adhering to the Aistear themes. Daily activities are planned and organised under each theme through a range of play-based activities.
Aistear: The Early Childhood Curriculum Framework present’s children’s learning and development using the following four themes:

Well-being

We encourage each child to be confident, happy and healthy within our care. It has two main elements: psychological well-being and physical well-being.

Identity & Belonging

Children will develop a positive sense of who they are and feeling that they are valued and respected as part of a family and community.

Communicating

Children will share their experiences, thoughts, ideas and feelings with others with growing confidence and competence in a variety of ways

Exploring & Thinking

Children will make sense of the things, places and people in their world by interacting with others, playing, investigating, questioning and forming ideas.

I can highly recommend Littlehands Montessori and Pre-school. Both of my children attended for 2 years before starting school and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lisa, Rosie and all the girls are brilliant with the kids and very professional. 5 star rating from us!

My children attended Little Hands in Donaghpatrick National School for their ECCE years and were very happy there. They now attend breakfast club / afterschool on an ad-hoc basis and love it so much that they often ask if they can go there as a treat! The presence of Little Hands in the school is a huge convenience and being able to leave the children there before / after school is invaluable for anyone requiring regular or occasional childcare.

I moved my little boy to little hands in May of this year due to a change of work. After viewing other premises little hands was the one we liked the most. It's so colourful and has lots of toys. Harrison settled in well and Helen was so motherly at all times. I knew after a few days that little hands was the right choice. Helen and staff are so accommodating. Linda in the school is so lovely and so obliging.

Both our kids have/are attending Little Hands and they have had such a rich experience. The care is outstanding and they go above and beyond for occasions. The staff are generous with their time and really get to know each child's personality. As a parent, not worrying about your kids while away from them is great peace of mind.

Little Hands is a home from home child care setting. The professional, caring & understanding nature demonstrated by the staff to the children differentiates this preschool from all others. The staff are so accommodating with all individual requests & at all times the safety and well being of the child is the core value adhered to. The interaction of all staff with the children encouraging constant development creates an atmosphere of continuous growth & enjoyment. As a parent I was confident that my child was cared for and developing by a truly magnificent team of pre school teachers who have the interest of all children at heart by ensuring the children are happy and content in their daily activities. A top class setting in a clean, friendly & safe environment.
