We opened in Annagh Hill National School in 2015. We have two bright and spacious rooms in which we provide quality care and education to children aged 2 years – 12 years.

This is a full day care service which offers sessional (9.20am-12.20am), part-time daycare (9am-2pm), full daycare (7.00am-6pm), breakfast club (7.00am-9am) and afterschool club (2pm-6pm).

Full daycare children are provided with breakfast, a hot nutritious meal, afternoon snack and selection of fruit as well as their own packed lunch for the morning snack. Part-time children will be provided with a selection of fruit and a snack, as well as their own packed lunch. Sessional children bring their own packed lunch and will be offered a selection of fruit. We have 2 large playrooms and a secure outdoor area which are equipped with age-appropriate materials per stage of development. The transition to school is much smoother if they are attending Annagh Hill National School as the children are familiar with the school when they finish preschool.

We have a junior preschool room where children in their first year of preschool and under attend. This room uses a play based approach and age appropriate activities are planned using the Aistear curriculum. Our senior Montessori room caters for children in their second year of preschool. This room also uses a play based approach and follows the Aistear curriculum, in this year the child will be taking part in different activities to prepare them for primary school.

School aged children can attend this service before school (7am-9am) and afterschool (2pm-6pm). These children are provided with breakfast before school and a hot snack and selection of fruit in afterschool. Written homework is supervised in afterschool. We have use of the school’s large outdoor area and our own area which is used for fun and games once homework is completed.

Alice, Geraldine, Helen and Caroline work in this service.
