Helen, Lisa, Brenda, Shalini and Mary work in this service.

Cahergal N.S – H54 C593 (Breakfast Club, Senior Montessori and Afterschool)

In 2017, we expanded our service to the newly built Cahergal National School. We have our own room in Cahergal National School. This service caters for children in their second year of preschool and school age children. Children move from the junior preschool to the senior Montessori in Cahergal National School the year before they attend school. This makes the transition to school much smoother if they are attending Cahergal National School. We have a large and secure outdoor play area with age-appropriate materials for the child’s development, including an outdoor sheltered classroom which allows us to experience outdoor learning all year round.
This service offers breakfast club (7am-9am), sessional (9.15am-12.15am), part-time daycare (9am-2pm) and afterschool club (2pm-6pm). Children are provided with breakfast before school and a hot snack and selection of fruit in afterschool. Written homework is supervised in afterschool. We have use of the school’s large outdoor area and Astroturf which is used for fun and games once homework is completed.

Lynda, Elaine and Lisa work in this service.
